Description
Kuşadası is located in the west of Turkey, between the well-known resorts of Bodrum and Izmir. Bodrum is about 150 kilometers away from Kuşadası – the city of Izmir and Kuşadası are about 100 kilometers away.
Kuşadası was once a rather insignificant port city located on various trade routes. Today, however, the picture has changed drastically: The vacation resort on the Turkish Aegean has a huge cruise port and picturesque beaches that delight vacationers from all over the world. In addition, there are the uniquely beautiful sights in and around Kuşadası, which definitely score points with quality instead of quantity. One of them is even a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kuşadası is most popular for its beaches, which are mostly fine sand, but also pebbles or rocks. Most of the beaches have the “Blue Flag”, which certifies ideal water quality.
