Data Merkez, Azerbaijan
Located in Baku, this data center was the first Tier III center in the Caucasus region. It is owned and operated by Azerbaijan International Telecom, under the Azerbaijani government. The data center offers world-class services like colocation hosting, 99.9% availability and a reliable server. It was started in 2016 and is a carrier-neutral data center.
Delta Telekom, Azerbaijan
Also located in Baku, Delta Telekom is projected to be the largest data center in the Caucasus. Delta Telekom is a major communications company in the country. Its data center was established mainly to manage national internet resources and governmental data. It is currently working only at 10% capacity. It offers a strong security mechanism, various operation systems, and focuses on engagement with data in the Azerbaijani language.
NewTelco, Georgia
NewTelco was the first carrier-neutral data center in the Caucasus region. Established in 2012, it was built with the help of the Danish investment fund IFU. NewTelco’s center in Georgia is equipped with world-class services, built to be competitive in the international arena. It is located in Tbilisi. The security systems have key cards, CCTVs, and facial recognition, ensuring complete protection of data.
WORLDBUS, Georgia
Also located in Tbilisi, Worldbus is one of the most prolific data centers in the region. They aim to provide cheaper but secure data services and work with businesses and technophiles. GNC Alfa, Armenia
GNC Alfa is a telecommunications company in Armenia. It specializes in data and internet services and owns and operates two data centers in Yerevan. They span over a bit less than 18,000 square feet. The services are used largely by mobile operators and large private enterprises.
OPTIBIT, South Russia
Located in Krasnoyarsk, this data center is one of the biggest in the South Russian region. It is carrier neutral. It provides special protection against intrusion and DDoS attacks. They have dedicated servers and usually store and manage data for Optibit itself, along with other private enterprises.
